On this dashboard, you can view an analysis of the energy storage management at your sites. The analysis includes the total energy stored as part of charging the batteries, and highlights inefficiencies in the storage of energy on site.

Key TakewaysTakeaways:

  • Track trends and anomalies in energy storage (battery charge) patterns.

  • Track energy storage efficiency, by identifying sites with high energy production (from the solar or the generator) that could have been used to charge batteries.

  • Utilize solar energy and energy storage to its full potential - Identify sites where there is insufficient energy storage capacity to store extra solar energy.

Solar Energy Loss

During solar peak hours, the solar energy production may exceed the energy needed by site consumers. In such cases, the extra energy should be stored by charging the batteries on site. The solar is not fully utilized without this measure, resulting in energy loss. The card calculates the time where the solar supplied all the site load, but did not charge the batteries simultaneously.
