Galooli uses the Omnicomm capacitive fuel sensor to read fuel data directly from the fuel tank. Any other fuel sensor utilized by the customer will not be supported by Galooli.

Required Tools

  • Fuel hand pump

  • Calibration Tube - will be assembled by the client

  • RS485 To USB Converter & two 0.5mm thick communication cables. The length of the cables is determined by the distance between the RS485 to the USB converter and the computer

  • Assorted pair of screwdrivers

  • ¾ inch hollow copper rod.

  • Measuring tape

  • Zip-ties

  • 35mm (1.4”) Bi-metal hole saw

  • Power drill

  • Fuel (Diesel, Gasoline)Junction box – we recommend at least IP 65

Configuration Preparation

IO Configuration in the Galooli solution is conducted per unit. To configure the IO’s, perform the following steps:

  1. Right-click Manager applications >> My units >> Locate and click on the selected unit -> Edit Unit -> IOs -> Analog Inputs -> Click to add…

  2. Input: Choose Analog 5

  3. Check ‘V’ in >> Configuration tab >> IOs >> Analog >> Click the + to add new IO.

  4. Enter the name of the IO >> Choose “Analog 5” in the Input section >> Check ‘V’ in the “Panorama Display” and “Main Fuel Tank” checkbox
