Tip

This dashboard may be used on more than one unit or site. Different information will be displayed at the unit level and at the multi-unit level.

If you wish to switch between the unit level and the multi-unit level, simply peak the relevant area of the organization tree, and the data will be updated automatically.

In contrast, if you wish to switch from the multi-unit view to the unit view, you may select the unit directly from the dashboard rather than searching for it in the organizational tree.

The Solar Insights sub-dashboard for a single unit provides a clear and structured overview of a solar energy system's performance, designed to help users monitor and optimize operations. It highlights key performance trends, such as daily energy production, allowing users to compare actual production against expected values. The dashboard also tracks system efficiency, pinpointing any periods of underperformance or potential issues with faulty components.

By providing insights into the maximum power generated and how consistently the system operates, it enables better decision-making for maintenance and performance optimization. The data on system uptime and battery usage supports enhanced energy management, ensuring that the solar system is working efficiently and delivering consistent power. The calculation of underperformance is based on a comparison between the solar output expected in accordance with the weather conditions on that day (solar total energy expected), and the actual solar output.

Note

It is only possible to obtain the expected energy if you are registered with Galooli for the weather API service.
