The Sites Cost Dashboard provides the bottom line of the sites’ performance and management. By detailing the operational costs, spent on grid, fuel and maintenance, the user can track his KPIs and show progress overtime.

Key Takeaways:

  • Total operational expenses and a breakdown to the grid, fuel and maintenance visits costs.

  • Tracking the expenses trend to identify changes over time, and to compare the actual expenses to the user’s KPI’s.

  • Highlight the most expensive sites.

The sites expenses calculated in the dashboard includes the following:

  • Grid cost - The cost is calculated based on the total grid energy (kWh) that has been utilized by the sites, and on the grid cost per kWh, which can be configured by the user.

  • Fuel cost – The cost is calculated based on the actual fuel consumption, and the price per Liter/Gallon, which can be configured by the user.

  • Generator maintenance cost – generator maintenance visit cost per running time in the selected period. The cost per visit and the fuel cost per Liter/Gallon can be configured by the user.

In order to match the data to the geographic area relevant to your organization, it is important to perform data matching before running the report. Without doing this action Galooli will rely on default data as defined below

Total Cost

Total expenses of the sites included in the dashboard, in the selected time range.

Average Cost per kWh

The normalized cost per energy unit (kWh), which indicates how efficient the site is in terms of its energy cost - because it does not depend on the amount of energy consumed - but on the sources that supplied the energy.

Expenses Saved By Solar

The total expenses that would have been added to the sites’ cost, if the sites where not using solar power. The calculations is based on the energy cost per kWh of the grid and the generator, and the total energy that was produced by the solar.

Operational Expenses Breakdown

The total expenses per source.

Operational Expenses Trend

The daily trend of expenses per source - where you can see changes over time. For example, you can learn if the fuel expenses increase/decrease with time, and identify periods with high expenses.
