The aircraft warning light (AWL) is an integral part of a telecom set upsetup.
Telecom towers are not safe for pilots and any space users, especially in the night timenighttime. Towers are of different heights from the ground to the cloud. Functional lights are important as a warning to space users like pilots. Each tower light status needs to be monitored and if not working must be serviced to ensure safety.
Tower/Aircraft warning lights may operate on AC and DC power.
Galooli provides monitoring solutions to both AC and DC power
...
AC powered tower bulbs are used to provide the security warning. The usual 220Volt Edison screw bulbs are commonly installed.
Monitoring is achieved with the use of a DC aircraft warning lights.
Additional features such as alerts, notifications, and reports can be defined via Galooli solution.
AC Powered AWL
The data is achieved via monitoring the status of the AWL. The monitoring is carried out with the help of an AC current transducer ring installed around the AC cable which carries the tower light current.
The transducer is instructed to read the tower bulbs number in relation to bulb's AC current Amperes being drawn from the power source. Changes in current relate are related to the number of bulbs that are working or faulty.
Galooli monitors this number of working and faulty lights and sends alarms (working and failed bulbs) to the client.

DC AWL
DC AWL communicates through dry contacts. The Galooli system has dedicated dry contacts for this installation.

The AC current transducer ring connects to Galooli gateways like Elara and EX20 extension in order to display the data to the user via Galooli solutions.
DC Powered AWL
The monitoring is achieved through dry contact communication. Galooli solutions like Elara and EX20 extension have dedicated dry contacts for this installation that are connected directly to the AWL controller.
