Installation of the Memory Module
Step 1 - Use two fingers to hold the memory module, and insert the gold figure into the slot and push the module down.
Step 2 - The memory module is locked by two latches on the sides. We strongly recommend using “LDC737” silicone on the two sides of the memory for good ability of vibration.
Installation of the Hard Disk Drive
Step 1 - Loosen 4 pcs screws of the cover, and put the HDD into the HDD bracket and fix the HDD by 4pcs of screws in the accessory bag.
Step 2 - Put the HDD bracket on the cover and use 4pcs screws to fix tightly. Takes the SATA + Power HDD cable and Cable Tie out from the accessory bag and connect SATA + Power HDD cable to HDD then use Cable Tie to fix it on the HDD bracket, cut off the lengthy Cable Tie.
Step 3 - Connect SATA + Power HDD cable to the board connector, SATA side first then power side second.
Step 4 - Put the cover back to the Axiomtek, and fasten screws tight close the chassis.
Step 5 - In case din-rail mounting is required, install them on the Axiomtek.
Different Accessories Connection
Step 1 - Connected a keyboard to the Axiomtek via usb connection.
Step 2 - Connect an Ethernet cable between the Axiomtek and your computer (LAN1).
Step 3 - Connect a VGA cable between the Axiomtek and a powered monitor (not your computer).
Step 4 - The grey RS485 communication cable must be connected to the Axiomtek COM1 or COM2 input in order to connect the various sensors, devices, or the Galooli tray to the Axiomtek.
A grey RS485 cable should be open at the other end, and a blue and brown cable should be exposed. These two cables are the RS485 connections that can be connected directly to the different sensors or to the Galooli tray.
