Web Solution can provide The Manager application provides the capability to detect a towing event, i.e. the movement of the vehicle, even when it's turned off. This includes creating a Complex event that contains 2 criteria:

  1. Vibration detection

  2. Ignition – off

Adding Vibration Event

1. Go to the vehicle is turned off. There are two simple steps involved in this process:

  1. Digital IO Configuration

  2. Digital Event Configuration

IO Creation

1. Manager application >> My units >> click on the relevant unit >> Click on “Configuration” tab >> IO’s >> Add a new “Digital Input”
2. Select Digital 15 for “Vibration detection

3. Click apply and go to the Events tab.

4. In the Digital Events section add a new event

5. Choose the “Vibration detected” input that was just created.

The event can be left as Disabled.

Adding Ignition Off Event

  1. Select the “Events” tab

  2. Click to add a new event in the common events section.

  3. Set the “Type” to “Status Start

  4. Set the event “Display Name”

  5. Select the Status “Off

The event can be left as Disabled.

Complex Events

  1. Go to “Complex Events” and add a new complex event.

  2. Combine the two events to work simultaneously

3. Time before activation can be added to ensure the condition is continuing and not momentary.“Digital” as described bellow
