The purpose of this document is to demonstrate two methods for upgrading the Elara version in the Power Center via serial (cable) connection and over-the-air (OTA) connection in the Web solution.

OTA Connection

Open the Web solution software

  1. Choose the "Manager"

  2. Click on the "My Version" solution

  3. Choose "Elara" from the "Device Type" menu

  4. Choose the relevant version in the “Available Versions” section

  5. Choose the relevant unit\units

  6. Before proceeding to the next section, make sure that the existing version is out of date

  7. Click “Upgrade” and wait until the process is complete

Serial Connection

Open the Power Center software

  1. Select the correct serial com# in the "Connect Via" section

  2. Select "Elara" from the "Active Device" section

  3. Make sure that the status is “serial”

  4. Click on the “Elara” tab

  5. Click on “Read Configuration” and wait until the process is complete

  6. Click on “Information”

  7. Click on the “Status” icon

  8. Click on the “Status” tab

  9. Make sure the "Version" raw represents the current version of the Elara. If not, proceed to the next step (If the version is not updated, the “value” will be red)

  10. Click on “Upgrade Version”

  11. Ensure that you upgrade the unit to the appropriate version and click on "Download Version"

  12. Once the progress has been completed, close the Power Center and reopen it

  3. Choose "Elara" from the "Device Type" menu

  4. Choose the relevant version in the “Available Versions” section

  5. Choose the relevant unit\units

  7. Click “Upgrade” and wait until the process is complete
