To ensure the proper operation of the Elara gateway, it is essential to perform the Elara version update process according to the instructions in this document.
The purpose of this document is to demonstrate two methods for upgrading the Elara version in the Power Center via serial (cable) connection and over-the-air (OTA) connection in the Web solution.
Serial Connection
Open the Power Center software
Select the correct serial com# in the "Connect Via" section
Select "Elara" from the "Active Device" section
Make sure that the status is “serial”
Click on the “Elara” tab
Click on “Read Configuration” and wait until the process is complete
Click on “Information”
Click on the “Status” icon
Click on the “Status” tab
Make sure the "Version" raw represents the current version of the Elara. If not, proceed to the next section
Click on “Upgrade Version”
Ensure that you upgrade the unit to the appropriate version and click on "Download Version"
Once the progress has been completed, close the Power Center and reopen it
OTA Connection
Open the Web solution software
Choose the "Customer Portal"
Click on the "My Version" solution
Choose "Elara" from the "Device Type" menu
Choose the relevant version in the “Available Versions” section
Choose the relevant unit\units
Before proceeding to the next section, make sure that the existing version is out of date
Click “Upgrade” and wait until the process is complete
