Instructions:

  • Connect the Elara to the RS485 converter:

    1. Connect the communication cables to the 1(A) & 2(B) ports in the RS485 converter:

    2. Connect the other side of the cables to the Elara RS485 A & B Ports:


      (tick) If your Elara is connected through a Tray, connect the cables to the gray terminal blocks, labeled DLS & BZR, while DLS is for Port A, and BZR is for Port B, as shown in the pictures:

      (tick) If your Elara is connected without a tray, e.g. directly, you need to connect the cables to the second RS485 Port (the rightest) in the Elara, as shown in the pictures:

    3. Make sure the Elara is powered.

  • Plug the RS485 converter into your computer, the converter will light with a red LED.

  • Open the Power Center application.

  • Part I of the configuration process:
    Perform the steps as displayed in the image bellow

-Make sure the “Connection” is “Connected to host”

-Make sure the SD card status is “Inserted / configuration OK”

-The Elara version should be up-to-date

  • Part 2 of the configuration process:

5. After you double-click the “Network” tab, check the “Server URL”, “Network APN” and the modes in both Port 1+2 (Port 1 must be the host and Port 2 binary). Then follow the steps below:
